I work nights. Does that matter when scheduling a testosterone test?

Yes. Your sleep and work schedule can matter when testosterone results are collected and interpreted. “Morning” on the clock may not represent the same point in your sleep-wake cycle as it does for someone who sleeps at night. Endocrine Society.

That does not mean you should choose a testing time yourself or dismiss a result. It means the clinician needs that context when planning the evaluation.
