Medical Weight Loss
Are weight-loss supplements a lower-cost version of prescription treatment?
No. A supplement marketed for weight loss is not equivalent to a prescription weight-loss medicine. Evidence varies by ingredient and product, and some products can cause side effects or interact with medicines. “Natural” does not settle whether something is effective or safe.
