What if my testosterone improves on treatment but I still do not feel better?

Tell MedFIT. Improving a laboratory number is not the same as producing a meaningful benefit.

That is an important reason for scheduled follow-up. Valerie wants to know which original symptoms improved, which did not and whether anything new has appeared.

If treatment has had a reasonable opportunity to work and you are not improving, do not assume you simply have to accept that. The cause, treatment response and overall health picture need reassessment. An adjustment may be appropriate; more testosterone is not automatically the answer.

MedFIT’s goal is to help you become healthier and feel better.

Next: Bring a clear description of what has—and has not—changed to your follow-up.
