Primary Care
How do I request a prescription refill between primary-care visits?
Refill timing depends on the service and the medication. For Primary Care, Valerie may write a prescription for up to about 90 days when that makes sense, which can also help reduce pharmacy costs.
Weight-loss medications are different because active weight-loss patients are generally seen about every 30 days. Men’s and Women’s Hormone Care usually line up with the roughly 12-week follow-up schedule, so prescriptions are commonly written around that cycle.
If you’re getting low, contact MedFIT before you run out so we can check whether a refill, follow-up visit, or treatment review is appropriate.
Next: Call or text MedFIT with the medication name and how much you have left.
