Medical Weight Loss
Can oral weight-loss medication help with cravings as well as hunger?
Some oral medicines can help with appetite or cravings, but the useful choice depends on what you are experiencing. Being physically hungry, wanting a particular food and eating in response to stress are not exactly the same problem. A medicine may help one part without resolving everything. At MedFIT, describing the pattern helps us choose and assess treatment more meaningfully than simply asking for the “strongest” pill. Oral medications are an established treatment path, and finding the right fit may take adjustment. Next: Describe when the urge to eat is hardest to manage and what it feels like.
